AI automation that hands back
the hours lost to admin.
Workflow automation for enquiries, follow-up and reporting, built one process at a time, with your team approving what matters.
Most of the hours lost each week go to work that follows the same steps every time: copying an enquiry into a spreadsheet, writing the same first reply, pulling the same figures into the same report. That work can be automated. The decisions around it stay with your people.
AI & Automation is one of the six Innovation services, and usually follows a review of where the time goes. We build and look after each automation from Norwich, wherever in the UK the business is based.
Automatic where it can be, checked where it matters.
Each workflow is drawn out step by step before it is built: what starts it, what happens automatically, and the point where a person approves the result before it reaches a client. Which data each step can see is agreed in writing.
Once it is live, it is measured against the hours it was meant to save, and it can be paused at any time.
What business process automation covers.
Built and supported one process at a time. The scope names the process, the hours it should save and the tools involved.
Workflow automation
Repetitive processes, from a new enquiry to onboarding a client, mapped step by step and automated wherever no judgement is needed.
Enquiry handling
New enquiries sorted, summarised and logged, with a first reply drafted for your team to check and send.
AI assistants for your team
Assistants set up around your own documents and processes, inside the tools your team already uses where possible.
Marketing automation
Email sequences, reminders and follow-up triggered by what a contact does, usually built in HubSpot.
Automated reporting
Figures from your CRM, ad accounts and analytics gathered into one report on a schedule, without anyone copying numbers across.
Connecting your systems
CRM, inbox, calendar, forms and finance tools passing data to each other, so nothing is typed in twice.
Approval steps
A person checks the result wherever it reaches a client or changes a record that matters.
Monitoring and support
Each automation checked after launch against the hours it was meant to save, then adjusted, or switched off if it does not.
One process at a time.
How each automation is chosen, built and proved before the next one starts.
Tell us where you’re goingFind.
Week one.
We look at where the hours go and choose the process where automation saves the most time for the least risk.
If an AI Consultancy review has been done, we start from its shortlist.
Draw.
Week two.
The workflow is drawn out step by step: what starts it, what runs automatically, where a person approves and which data each step can see.
You sign it off before anything is connected.
Build.
Weeks three and four.
The automation is built and run alongside the old way of working, so the results can be compared before anyone relies on it.
Nothing goes live until it has been tested on real examples.
Measure.
Month two onwards.
The hours saved are checked against the plan, and the next process on the list begins once this one is working.
Your team is trained on each automation as it goes live.
AI & Automation, in practice.

Questions about automation.
What does AI automation include?
Finding the processes worth automating, drawing each workflow out step by step, building and testing it, connecting the systems involved, training your team, and checking each automation against the hours it was meant to save.
Which processes are worth automating first?
The ones that follow the same steps every time, happen often and take up hours each week: logging enquiries, first replies, meeting notes, copying data between systems and regular reports. Anything that needs judgement about a client or a price stays with a person.
What is the difference between workflow automation and AI automation?
Workflow automation follows fixed rules: when this happens, do that. AI automation adds steps that read, summarise or draft, such as sorting an enquiry by what it is about. Most useful automations combine the two, with a person approving the AI steps.
Do you build AI agents for business?
Where they are the right tool. An agent that acts on its own needs clear limits on what it can see and do, so we start with narrower automations and add autonomy only where the risk is low and the time saved is clear.
Which tools do you build with?
Usually the ones you already have. HubSpot’s workflows cover much of the follow-up work, and need a Professional or Enterprise subscription. Where other systems need connecting, the tool is named in the scope and the account is held in your name.
What happens to our data?
Before anything is connected, we agree in writing which tools see which data. Where personal data is involved, the risks are documented so your data protection lead can assess them against the ICO’s guidance on AI.
What if an automation gets something wrong?
Wherever it reaches a client or changes something that matters, a person approves it first. Any automation can be paused while it is put right, and it only runs again once it has been tested.
How soon will we get hours back?
The first automation is usually live within a month. The hours it saves are measured from its first week, and that figure decides which process comes next.
How is it priced?
Every engagement has a defined scope and a stated fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. Tell us where you’re going and we’ll tell you what it would involve.
