Few businesses need all of this. The first conversation is about where yours is going, and which of these will get it there.

Web design in Norwich for websites that win enquiries, take bookings or sell online, built in Webflow, Shopify or Wix Studio and tested on every device before launch.
A website has one job: to turn the right visitor into an enquiry, a booking or a sale. We agree what that job is before anything is designed, choose the platform that does it best, and build only what the business will use.
Website development is one of the six Innovation services. Each site is designed, written and built from our Norwich office, for clients across Norfolk and the rest of the UK.
The platform follows from what the site has to do, who will update it and what it needs to connect to. An existing site can be redesigned without losing the search traffic it has earned.
Every site starts with a site map: each page, what it is for, the search it should be found for and the one thing it asks a visitor to do. You approve it before any design begins.
Changing a site map takes an afternoon. Changing a finished website takes weeks.
Every site gets the same groundwork. Booking, e-commerce and multi-language sites add what they need on top, and the quote sets out which parts yours includes.
What the site has to do, who it is for and what each visitor should do next, set out page by page before design begins.
The key pages designed for desktop and mobile, and approved by you before anything is built.
Pages written for the searches your buyers use, with photography and video shot at your business where the site needs it.
Appointments, classes and events booked and paid for on the site, with deposits and cancellation terms set for each service.
Products, stock, delivery and checkout, on Shopify for most shops, or on Wix Studio or Webflow where the range is small.
Fast-loading pages, page titles, structured data, clear headings, image descriptions and keyboard access, built in from the start.
The domain connected, old addresses redirected, and Google Analytics 4 and Search Console set up so enquiries are tracked from the first day.
Your team trained to update the site, a handover pack to keep, then a monthly care plan for updates, maintenance and support.
What happens, and when, on a typical build. Most sites take six to eight weeks.
Tell us where you’re goingWeek one.
We agree what the site has to do, review what is there now, choose the platform and draw up the site map.
You approve the site map before design begins.
Weeks two to four.
The key pages are designed for desktop and mobile, with the copy written alongside, and revised with your feedback.
Nothing is built until you have approved the designs.
Weeks five to seven.
The site is built and filled, forms, bookings or checkout are connected, and every page is tested on phones, tablets and desktops.
You review the finished site on a private link before it goes live.
Week eight.
The domain is connected, redirects and tracking are checked, and your team is trained, in person wherever possible.
The site then moves to a monthly care plan.

“It was a pleasure working with Alex and Pollard Media with our recent re-branding and new website.”
Discovery and a site map, page designs for desktop and mobile, the copy, the build in Webflow, Shopify or Wix Studio, testing on every device, launch with redirects and tracking, and training for your team. Photography, video, online booking and e-commerce are added where the site needs them.
The one that suits what the site has to do. Shopify for selling products online, Wix Studio where bookings or events sit at the centre of the business, and Webflow for design-led sites that publish often or run in more than one language. The recommendation comes with the reasons, before any work begins.
Most sites take six to eight weeks from the start of discovery to launch. Larger shops, multi-language sites and sites with more complex booking take longer, and the timeline is set out in writing before work begins.
Yes. Appointments, classes and events can be booked and paid for on the site, with deposits and cancellation terms set for each service. On Wix Studio this runs on Wix Bookings. On Webflow we connect the booking system you already use.
Yes. All three platforms let your team change words, images, products and listings without changing the design, and each person can be given only the access they need. Training is part of every handover.
You do. The domain, the content and the design are yours, and the site can be moved into your own account on the platform whenever you want it.
It moves to a monthly care plan covering updates, maintenance and support, with time each month for changes. Search and enquiry tracking are already in place, so the site’s performance can be reported from the first month.
Yes. The team works from the Norwich office and builds sites for businesses across Norfolk and the rest of the UK. Design reviews and training happen in person wherever possible, and on a video call where they cannot.
Every engagement has a defined scope and a stated fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. Tell us where you’re going and we’ll tell you what it would involve.
Tell us where you’re going. We’ll tell you, candidly, whether we’re the right agency to take you there.
