LeadJen
A website with zero ick and plenty of Jen.
The results, in numbers.
The brief
LeadJen is the sales consultancy of Jeni Ashdown, who spent 20 years in B2B sales, the last six of them inside agencies. She helps marketing agencies build sales functions that actually get used, without the hard sell.
Her old website was a single WordPress page: three packages, a short about section and a link to book a call. With a new brand in place, LeadJen needed a site with room for how the work runs, the proof behind it and Jen's own insights.
The brief was a website that looked like the new brand and felt like a conversation with Jen: fun, interactive and quintessentially her.
What we did
The build
We designed and built the new site in Webflow, in line with LeadJen's new branding. It moves from one long page to a proper site, with pages for how it works, about Jen, insights and contact.
The personality
Jen's voice runs through every page. The main button reads Book a chinwag. Scrolling ticker strips carry lines like Zero ick and Say the quiet bit out loud. The three ways of working are each labelled with a stage of grief, from confusion to panic.
The proof sits under the heading The receipts, with testimonials from the agencies she has worked with.
A letter to Jen
Jen wanted enquiries to feel as unique as the rest of the site, not like filling in a standard contact form. So we built a letter to Jen. Visitors write to her directly, and the letter asks the questions she would ask: the kind of agency, where the leads come from and what they want to change. By the time Jen reads it, she already knows where to start.
The interactive bits
A pre-filled WhatsApp message and a booking button that stays in the header as you scroll keep a conversation one step away.
Then there are the easter eggs. We hid a few around the site for visitors to find, and we are not saying where.
The result
The new site is ready to replace the old one at leadjen.co.uk. LeadJen gets a website that sounds like Jen, shows how the work runs from the first audit, and puts a chinwag one click away from wherever a visitor is.
Before, and after.
The work in use.
