More of the work
you want to do.
Marketing for law firms, accountancy practices, tax advisers and consultancies, written to the rules your profession sets, with one firm per area.
Clients choose an adviser on reputation. They ask people they trust, then check the website, the people and the work before they make contact.
So the marketing has to do what your best partners already do: show what the firm knows, who does the work and what it costs to instruct you. Each profession has its own rules on how that is said. The SRA, ICAEW and ACCA all set them, and Pollard Media writes to them.
Built around the work you want.
Each month starts with a written plan built around the work your firm wants to grow: the service lines with capacity, the sectors you know best and the referrers who already send work. Every task has a name beside it and the instructions it is there to win.
You see the plan before the month begins and the report after it ends. Work that is not bringing in the right enquiries is stopped, and the time goes where it will.
What we run for firms.
Every service Pollard Media offers, run against your fee and instruction targets. The plan sets out which parts your firm needs, from a single office to several.
Law firms
Service pages that carry the price and service information the SRA Transparency Rules require, with the SRA digital badge where it should be.
Accountancy practices
Marketing for the services you want to grow, with fees explained the way ICAEW and ACCA expect and no claim you could not stand behind.
Tax and business advisers
Advisers whose work comes through referral, given the profile, content and introducer contact that keep those referrals coming.
Consultancies
Engineering, management and specialist consultancies given a clear position, case studies and a website that shows the work behind the name.
Positioning and brand
What the firm is known for, set down in writing and carried through the website, proposals and every piece of marketing.
Partner profiles and content
Profiles, articles and talks that show what your people know, written with them and published where clients look.
LinkedIn and Google Ads
Campaigns for the service lines with capacity, shown to the job titles and searches that lead to instructions.
Client and referrer email
Newsletters and updates to clients, introducers and contacts, judged on the replies and introductions they bring.
The website
Built or rebuilt in Webflow or Wix Studio, with service, people and case study pages that answer what a client checks before calling.
Tracking and reporting
Calls, forms and booked consultations traced to the channel they came from, and followed through to the instructions they become.
Your regulator’s rules, written in.
Professional marketing is regulated by the bodies that regulate the work. We write to their rules and send anything with a fee, a claim or a comparison to you for sign-off before it runs.
- SRA Transparency RulesPrice and service information for the services the rules cover, such as residential conveyancing and uncontested probate, with the SRA number and digital badge shown.
- Unsolicited approachesFor law firms, advertising is allowed, but cold approaches to members of the public are not, under the SRA Code of Conduct.
- Accountancy codesICAEW and ACCA members must not exaggerate or make disparaging comparisons, and any fee mentioned must be explained.
- Client confidentialityClient names, case studies and testimonials used only with the client’s written agreement, because confidentiality runs through every professional code.
- Your sign-offNothing with a fee, a claim or a comparison goes live until you have approved it.
The first quarter.
How a firm is taken on, and how the work runs once it is.
Tell us where you’re goingReview.
Weeks one to three.
We spend time with your partners, review the marketing already in place and the numbers behind it, then write the plan around the work you want more of.
You receive the plan, with your fee targets on page one and a name against every part of it.
Handover.
Weeks four to six.
Ad accounts, listings, tools and suppliers move across in order of what matters most, so nothing stops while the rest follows.
Every account stays in your name.
Run.
Month two onwards.
Each month’s work is planned around your service lines, people and capacity, done by the specialists in each discipline and reviewed with your named lead.
The monthly report goes to the managing partner.

The plan is reviewed against your fee and instruction targets. Work that is moving you towards them gets more time, and work that is not is stopped.
The scope and fee change only when you agree it in writing.
Marketing you can hold to account.
Firms have good reason to be wary of marketing promises. Pollard Media works to commitments written for the people who answer for the numbers. Every client gets them, set out in the client pack.

Great team to work with, have already delivered results a few months in with our socials and media and have clear steps for the future. Has kept us accountable to work required internally too.
I worked closely with Alex who handled our company re-brand identity and website build. Delighted with the result and look forward to working with Pollard Media as we continue to grow our business audience.
One firm per area.
Our MissionQuestions about marketing for firms.
Which professions do you work with?
Law firms, accountancy practices, tax and business advisers, and consultancies, including engineering and specialist consultancies. The plan is written for the profession and the rules that come with it. Financial advisers, wealth managers and mortgage brokers are covered under Financial Services.
Can you publish our prices to the SRA rules?
Yes. For the services the Transparency Rules cover, we set out the total cost or a range, the basis of the charges, what is and is not included, the key stages and timescales, and who does the work.
Will our partners have to write the content?
No. We interview them, write it and send it back for checking. Their time goes on what only they know.
Can you name our clients in case studies?
Only with the client’s written agreement. Where a client would rather not be named, the case study describes the kind of work and the outcome without identifying them.
Does LinkedIn work for professional firms?
It is often where the buyers are, because ads can be shown by job title, seniority, company and sector. We test it against search and referral activity and keep the budget where the instructions come from.
What does one firm per area mean?
Pollard Media acts for one business per sector in each area. Once we act for your firm, we will not take on your direct competitor nearby. We agree what that means for your firm before the work begins, and write it down. It covers all ongoing marketing work; website builds are the one exception.
Do we keep our accounts and data?
Yes. Ad accounts, analytics, Google Business Profiles, the website and every file are held in your name, and we are given access to run them. If you ever move on, all of it stays with you.
How is it priced?
Every engagement has a defined scope and a stated fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. Tell us where you’re going and we’ll tell you what it would involve.
Ready to talk about your next stage of growth?
Tell us where you’re going. We’ll tell you, candidly, whether we’re the right agency to take you there.
