Full courses,
every intake.

Marketing for commercial training companies, apprenticeship providers and accredited course providers, built around your intake dates, with one provider per area.

Training is bought twice. An employer signs off the budget, and a learner decides whether to turn up. The marketing has to work for both.

That means course pages that answer an employer’s questions, campaigns timed to each intake, and claims about accreditation that are exactly right. The funding has changed as well: apprenticeships moved to the Department for Work and Pensions in April 2026, and apprenticeship units opened to new starts the same month.

Built around the intake calendar.

Each month starts with a written plan built around your course dates: the intakes with places to fill, the employers to reach and the learners already enquiring. Every task has a name beside it and the enrolments it is there to bring in.

You see the plan before the month begins and the report after it ends. Work that is not filling places is stopped, and the time goes where it will.

Each month

  • Run against your enrolment targets
  • Planned around intake dates
  • Employers and learners both reached
  • One report to the managing director

What we run for providers.

Every service Pollard Media offers, run against your enrolment and revenue targets. The plan sets out which parts your business needs, whether you sell open courses, in-house training or apprenticeships.

  • Commercial training

Open and in-house courses marketed to the managers who book them, with dates, prices and outcomes on every course page.

  • Apprenticeship providers

Campaigns for employers and learners that reflect the current funding rules, including foundation apprenticeships and apprenticeship units.

  • Accredited and technical training

Courses that lead to a recognised qualification or approval described exactly as the awarding body allows, with its logo used only as its policy permits.

  • Intake campaigns

Search and social campaigns timed to each intake, with the budget moved to the courses that still have places.

  • Employer marketing

LinkedIn, email and outbound to the HR and training managers who sign off the budget.

  • Course pages and booking

One page per course with what it covers, who it is for, dates, price and how to book, and cancellation terms that meet consumer law.

  • Content Visits

Photography and video of training in progress from a half-day on site each month, edited and ready to publish.

  • Trade events

Stands, invitations and content for the events your buyers attend, with every contact followed up.

  • Local SEO and the website

A Google Business Profile kept up for each centre, reviews answered, and course pages built to be found for the searches learners make.

  • Tracking and reporting

Enquiries, bookings and enrolments traced to the channel they came from, so every part of the budget is judged on the places it fills.

Claims, stated exactly.

Training marketing is judged on accuracy. The ASA has ruled against course providers that implied a recognised qualification or a partnership that did not exist, and Ofsted has changed how its results can be shown. We write to those rules and send each claim to you for sign-off.

  • QualificationsA CPD certificate is described as a CPD certificate. Only a course that leads to a recognised qualification is described as one.
  • Logos and approvalsAwarding body, accreditation and partner logos used only where the relationship exists and the owner’s policy allows.
  • Ofsted report cardsSince November 2025 there is no single overall grade. Results are quoted as published, and old Outstanding or Good logos come down after a report card inspection.
  • Cancellation rightsConsumer bookings made online usually carry a 14-day right to cancel, and the booking page explains it.
  • Your sign-offNothing with a qualification, funding or outcome claim goes live until you have approved it.

The first quarter.

How a provider is taken on, and how the work runs once it is.

Tell us where you’re going
  1. Review.

    Weeks one to three.

We spend time with your team, review the marketing already in place and the numbers behind it, then write the plan around your intake calendar.

You receive the plan, with your enrolment targets on page one and a name against every part of it.

  2. Handover.

    Weeks four to six.

Ad accounts, listings, tools and suppliers move across in order of what matters most, so nothing stops while the rest follows.

Every account stays in your name.

  3. Run.

    Month two onwards.

Each month’s work is planned around your courses, intakes and capacity, done by the specialists in each discipline and reviewed with your named lead.

The monthly report goes to your managing director.

  4. Adjust.

    Each quarter.

The plan is reviewed against your enrolment and revenue targets. Work that is moving you towards them gets more time, and work that is not is stopped.

The scope and fee change only when you agree it in writing.

Marketing you can hold to account.

Providers have good reason to be wary of marketing promises. Pollard Media works to commitments written for the people who answer for the numbers. Every client gets them, set out in the client pack.

  • Reported in enrolments, not clicks
Enquiries, bookings and enrolments, in a monthly report that lands by working day 10 and is talked through in a 45-minute review.
  • You approve the work
Ads, posts and budgets come to you for approval, with a record of who approved what and when. If you are tied up, you choose whether we hold or go ahead.
  • Urgent changes first
If a price, offer or claim needs to change anywhere we manage, call us. Urgent changes get a response within 2 hours in working hours.
  • Every message answered
Every message acknowledged within 1 working day, and a second person briefed on your account so nothing waits on holidays.
  • Your accounts, your data
Ad accounts, analytics, Google Business Profiles and the website stay in your name. If you ever move on, all of it stays with you.
  • Scope and fee in writing
Agreed before any work begins, and changed only when you agree it in writing.

I initially contacted them for help with Google advertising, from the start it was super relaxed, no pressure to buy from them and genuine advice on which strategy would be best for my business.

One provider per area.

Our Mission

Questions about training marketing.

Do you market apprenticeships as well as commercial courses?

Yes. Apprenticeship marketing reaches employers and learners and reflects the funding rules in force, which changed again in August 2026. Commercial courses are marketed to the managers who book them.

Can we say our courses are accredited?

Only where they are, and only in the words the accrediting or awarding body allows. The ASA has upheld complaints against providers that blurred the line between a CPD certificate and a recognised qualification.

How do you fill a particular intake?

Campaigns start early enough to fill the date, run across search, social and email, and move budget to the intakes that still have places. Bookings are checked against the target every week.

Can you reach employers directly?

Yes. LinkedIn Ads by job title and sector, email to your existing contacts, and outbound to named HR and training managers.

What does one provider per area mean?

Pollard Media acts for one business per sector in each area. Once we act for your business, we will not take on your direct competitor nearby. We agree what that means for your business before the work begins, and write it down. It covers all ongoing marketing work; website builds are the one exception.

Do we keep our accounts and data?

Yes. Ad accounts, analytics, Google Business Profiles, the website and every file are held in your name, and we are given access to run them. If you ever move on, all of it stays with you.

How is it priced?

Every engagement has a defined scope and a stated fee, agreed in writing before any work begins. Tell us where you’re going and we’ll tell you what it would involve.

Ready to talk about your next stage of growth?

Tell us where you’re going. We’ll tell you, candidly, whether we’re the right agency to take you there.
