The Brief:

Subteno is an independent structural and civil engineering consultancy based in Norwich, working on ambitious projects across sectors including retail, heritage, and energy.

They support clients through design-led coordination, technical insight, and client-side clarity, bringing a calm, considered approach to projects of real complexity. While they are rooted in Norfolk, their work takes them well beyond it, contributing to schemes across the UK and further afield.

As the business grew, their brand stopped keeping pace with it. The existing website and identity had been right for an earlier chapter, but they no longer reflected the quality of the work or the calibre of the projects Subteno were now delivering. For a firm whose entire value rests on precision and credibility, that gap mattered.

They came to us for a complete rebrand and a new website that would close that gap. The goal was to position Subteno as the modern, innovative consultancy they had become, and to give potential clients confidence from the very first click.

What We Did:

We started with the brand. We developed a new visual identity for Subteno that feels clean, confident, and professional, aligning the way they look with the way they work. The rebrand set the foundation for everything that followed.

From there, we designed and built a bespoke website to replace their old one. The new site was structured to clearly communicate what Subteno does, who they are, and what sets them apart. Dedicated pages for structural engineering and civil engineering services make it easy for potential clients to understand the consultancy's capabilities, while a projects portfolio showcases their work across a range of sectors.

We also built out their story, philosophy, and team pages to give the brand real depth. Engineering consultancies can sometimes feel faceless online, so it was important that Subteno's site felt human and approachable without losing its technical credibility.

The Result:

The result is a site that pairs strong visuals with clear messaging, backed by a brand identity that works just as well on screen as it does on documentation, signage, and accreditation materials.

Subteno now has a brand and website that match the standard of their impeccable engineering work. The new site gives them a credible, professional platform to win new clients, showcase landmark projects, and stand out in their market.
